Restoring the Right
NACRA Credit Audit and Verification Process
8 Things a better credit score can buy you
First and most importantly, by letting our recommended attorney restore your good name and credit score, you will have an easier time borrowing money. But did you know that you could also use your newfound status achieved by NACRA to lower your current bills? Credit scores, that three digit number that lenders use to gauge your creditworthiness, can affect everything from what you drive to where you work! Fixing your credit is a BIG JOB! If you have tried restoring your credit by yourself before, you know what I am talking about. If you have used a fly-by-night, self-proclaimed "Credit Repair Company" with little success, then a professional attorney who does this day in and day out can rescue your credit rating from the basement. When we are done, here's how you can put your newfound clout to good use:
Call your credit card companies
If you still carry balances on your credit cards, your improved score may entitle you to lower rates that can help reduce your financing costs, therefore, allowing you to pay the balances off quicker. Especially if these cards were given to you while your score was less than perfect.
Don't expect your credit card issuers to volunteer lower rates. You will have to negotiate for them and be willing to transfer your balances to other cards if necessary. Even if you don't carry a balance, you'll probably want to look around for a better credit card deal. You can access CardRatings.com to see if something better is available along with MSN Money's Credit Card Analyzer.
Remember, don't go applying everywhere just because NACRA increased you credit score enough to get more money. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Be smart and protect your newfound status and clout!
Call your insurance companies
In most states, insurers are allowed to use credit information to determine premiums for clients. With the improved scores that NACRA will help you achieve, you may be able to win breaks on your old auto and homeowner’s coverage. Check your state for the right information as some states such as California and Massachusetts have banned this practice. It is worth a phone call to find out if your premiums have been affected by your credit. Even if your insurer happens to be one that does not use credit as a factor, you might consider shopping for one that does because that newfound clout that we keep talking about could entitle you to lower premiums for the simple fact that this particular company REWARDS GOOD CREDIT!
Consider refinancing auto and home equity loans
Auto and home finance companies are among the most influenced by your credit score. This means better credit can win you dramatically better rates.
See if a mortgage refinance makes sense
A dramatic increase in your credit score can qualify you for a better rate on your primary home loan depending on seasoning from time of purchase or last refinance. Even if you would qualify for a better rate, refinancing might not make sense if you will not be in that home long enough to offset the costs involved with refinancing.
Look for a new place to live
If you rent, which more and more of us are, your ability to find a decent apartment or rental home could have been affected by your previous credit score and/or credit history. People with poor credit often have to settle for less than desirable housing or pay a larger security deposit than those with an excellent credit score and history. After NACRA is done with your own personal credit file, you can pick and choose where you want to live and perhaps not even need a deposit, or at the very least, need very little in the way of a deposit.
Look for a better job
Although employers typically do not look at credit scores alone in considering a prospective employee, they do usually review them as part of a background check. Significant problems with credit can prevent you from getting jobs that involve money or that require some type of security clearance. Why should you be denied the job you want and ultimately are qualified for?
Call your utilities and phone carriers
Just about all telephone and utility companies require substantial deposits from people with poor credit. You could ask for this money back upon completion of our Credit Restoration program through NACRA. You may be thinking of relocating or moving, why not get your credit situation handled now in order to avoid that deposit?
Be prepared for collector's calls
Credit card companies hunting for customers are not the only people spying in on your credit reports. Collection agencies are looking as well in hopes that your financial situation has improved enough to pay them. This is exactly why you need NACRA. Once a deletion is off your credit report, given to your attorney which was assigned to your case, in writing, whether from the bureaus, previous collection companies, or any other source, we will make sure IT STAYS OFF! Unethical collectors know that some people will pay a bill that is not theirs, just to prevent further damage to their credit report. By utilizing NACRA, you would refer this matter to your assigned attorney and they would take the appropriate actions to ensure this does not get placed on your credit file.
